Would you describe your music as techno, dance, or neither?

Electronic

Why did you decide to do a remix album in conjunction with Ministry of Sound?

It's not a remix album. They licensed the Profound sound 3 Compilation from us. They do a good job with their product, so we're a part of it. I like nodding my head to Hot Chip and maybe a bit of Duke Ellington, should my hands move to that part of my CD collection.

What gets your feet moving on the dancefloor?

Deep music. Reggae, Electronic or whetever. I like a lot of things. I think the concept of being a DJ is utterly muddled nowadays. It would appear to be mostly about pushing the play button and having some club promoter allow you to believe that your taste in music is the bomb.

That's why people like you are good. I am right?

It's all a matter of taste. I do my thing. That's that. I'm fortunate to get to play at venues all over the world where I get to do my thing without compromise...

Do you like gardening, reading, or both?

Both. But, not much to garden in Philly.

Enjoying my only Friday off all summer.
