This 3-track taster EP sets out Roebeck's cards on the table and at first listen, they appear to be playing from the same pack as fellow chill-outers Zero 7, Royskopp or Air. To dismiss them as merely derivative is unfair though; while they share the same after-hours mix of electronica, keys and beats, the diversity found in this, their opening hand, signposts a bright future for the duo.

Leading track 'Do You Remember' does suggest classic Zero 7. Its dreamy electric organ lines weave in and out of acoustic guitar, keeping us guessing before opening out into the epic electronics of the chorus. Next up is 'Just Wanna be Loved' featuring heartbreaking vocals by Marxus Nexus. With a wind machine and muted beats serving as accompaniment to this elegy to love, the 70s soul influence shines through. Finally Starry Night (On Emerald Bay) evokes an altogether more ominous picture through its dissonant synths and out-of-this-world nods to sci-fi scores everywhere.

Perfectly encapsulating summer in all her hazy moods, Roebeck could bring chilled out electronica to a whole new generation if they build on the eclecticism they demonstrate here.
